KiSS Mugello is the environmental and social sustainability programme of the MotoGP™ Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello Circuit, with the goal to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability during major sporting events, as well as in everyday life.
The program began its journey at the 2013 MotoGP™ Italian Grand Prix thanks to the collaboration between Mugello Circuit, Yamaha Motor Racing and FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme), in agreement with DORNA and IRTA (International Road Racing Teams Association), and was the first initiative in the motorcycling world with the goal of raising awareness and involvement on the issue of sustainability among the universe of motorcycling using a major sporting event as a vehicle to achieve the goal.
Since its first edition, KiSS Mugello has inspired a series of other major motorcycling events by contributing to the worldwide spread of KiSS - Keep it Shiny and Sustainable programmes to other MotoGP™ Grand Prix and other motorcycle disciplines around the world. KiSS programmes are part of FIM Ride Green programme.
KiSS Mugello is under the management and coordination of Right Hub, an italian company specialized in environmental and social sustainability projects.
