KiSS Mugello is the environmental and social sustainability programme of the MotoGP™ Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. The KiSS Programme (Keep it Shiny and Sustainable) made its debut at the 2013 MotoGP™ Italian Grand Prix — the first initiative of its kind in the world of motorcycle racing — thanks to the joint efforts of Mugello Circuit, Yamaha Motor Racing and FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme), in collaboration with DORNA and IRTA. The aim has always been clear: to raise awareness and engage the motorsport community on sustainability issues by leveraging the visibility and reach of a major international sporting event.
Since its very first edition, KiSS Mugello has served as an inspiration for similar initiatives at other major motorcycle racing events, helping to expand the KiSS – Keep it Shiny and Sustainable programme across other MotoGP™ rounds and two-wheel disciplines around the world. KiSS programmes are part of the broader FIM Ride Green initiative.

The 2025 edition features a wide range of activities, including the collection and donation of surplus food in collaboration with Banco Alimentare Toscana and Fondazione Banco Alimentare, as well as the moving “Solidarity Pit Lane Walk”, which gives people with disabilities and their carers a unique chance to experience the pit lane up close, meet riders and team managers, and enjoy the paddock atmosphere.

Also returning this year is the PET bottle recycling call-to-action, promoted by COREPLA (Italian National Consortium for the Collection and Recycling of Plastic Packaging). An eco-compactor will be available at the KiSS Mugello info desk in the paddock area, and a team of Green Rangers will engage with spectators to encourage proper collection and disposal of PET bottles using dedicated wearable containers.

The design and coordination of KiSS Mugello are managed by Right Hub Società Benefit, a specialized organization that promotes international sustainability projects for businesses and the events industry — including event organizers, suppliers, sports teams and venues.
