Sustainability has always been the distinctive factor of the Mugello International Circuit. The plant, owned by Ferrari, was the first in the world to obtain numerous system certifications such as: ISO 20121 (Sostenibilità Eventi), ISO 9001 (Qualità), ISO 14001 and EMAS (Ambiente), ISO 45001 (Salute e Sicurezza), FIA Environmental Accreditation 3 Star (Ambiente) e PdR125 (Gender Equality).

Not only that, since 2013 the KiSS Mugello (Keep It Shiny and Sustainable) sustainability program promoted by FIM, Dorna and IRTA has been organized on the occasion of the Italian Grand Prix, a symbol for the promotion of environmental and social sustainability in the sports and motorsport sector . In 2018 KiSS Mugello was included among the best international initiatives for sustainability in sport in a study by UEFA, WWF and Green Sports Alliance.
